Blood Chit Patch

This is a patch of the American Blood Chit, which was found on the back of aviator jackets of personnel operating in the China-Burma-India theatre during WWII. It features the Chinese Nationalist Flag on top and Chinese writing below that in a basic translation stated that the wearer was an American fighting for the Chinese and if found the US government would give a reward to those who helped him back from behind enemy lines. Patch measures 3” wide by 4” tall.
